MORE ABOUT ME!

I'm a socially-anxious creator, Pisces, and sorceress of darkness. Those are the most important things to know, right? But I'm also a cat AND dog person (see below for our household pets) with a penchant for making lists and never using them. My favorite sweet treat is homegrown strawberries mashed over vanilla ice cream. My familiar is a fox. I'm 99% introverted and naturally quiet. Conversations feel like pricking my fingers with thorns & hoping people don't notice I'm bleeding. I've lived in Michigan my whole life but I would dearly love to escape it at some point. But it would have to be in another northern state because I cannot deal with hot and/or humid weather. (Though I would miss fall in Michigan). History and travel are two of my passions and one day I want to marry them and satisfy all of my yearnings.

As for what this site and blog is for, I write about angry girls and quiet boys and moral ambiguity. I'm here for the messy and complicated and downright villainous. I'm queer/bi, so my casts are almost always all-on-the-spectrum. I want to publish a wide range of stories, not be boxed in. But fantasy has my heart. I love the books where I can fall into another world and never want to leave it.

Bob's Burgers and Brooklyn Nine-Nine are my go-to shows that make me laugh like no other except sometimes New Girl. But I also go through the Friends seasons every once in awhile. It's old and problematic as all hell, but I love it so much.
Schitt's Creek is also FANTASTIC and makes me cry a lot.
Favorite Disney/Pixar animated movies: Beauty and the Beast, Frozen I and II, Atlantis, Mulan, Moana, Treasure Planet, The Incredibles 1 and 2, Coco. Basically all of them?
Dreamworks specific: How to Train Your Dragon trilogy!!! *sobs* also The Croods, Rise of the Guardians, and El Dorado
Not a movie or TV show, but Hamilton the musical.
Everyone should watch Unbelievable on Netflix. And Merritt Wever should win every award available.
